It's cheap and it really works well

I was concerned the price was too low, but this meter does the job quickly and accurately. It's well-built and works, giving an accurate reading in about 20 seconds. What more do you need? I've even dropped mine several times with no ill effects (not recommended behavior). There's no reason for most gardeners to spend any more on a soil moisture meter.
Works like a charm

It works. You can get the reading IMMEDIATELY. It is helping me to avoid killing more plants by overwartering.

Not that accurate but does give some sort of moisture measurement. Dry means moisture and moisture means wet. If the pointer is at the bottom of the meter, then it is completely dry. Soaking this thing to the water, it says moisture.
